Mash Gang Furthur – Wheat Beer ~ 440ml Can
Inspired by the open road, crackling campfires and a night under the stars. A celebration of the great American road trip. We used orange peel and coriander seed in the boil and a classic west coast ale yeast. Best served in a tumbler with a wedge of orange and a slice of lime.
- Hops: Hallertauer
- Adjuncts: Valencia, Naval Orange Peel, Coriander, Cardamon seed.
Jordan says of this beer:
“I’ve held the belief that wheat beers translate to alcohol-free beers very very well. There’s something in the fermentation that gives a bit of a boozy kick to it. Last summer, We released Liike Icarus, and it was our take on blue moon/ hoegaaaden. Whilst it was an incredibly popular beer, I think the artwork may have put off some of the audience that might have enjoyed it more, so I worked with my partner on it. Retro, hippie-trail kind of Grateful Dead, inspired design, that more adequately reflected the beverage within. We absolutely love this beer to a degree where it may not be a quarter of beer, but it will return every few months and certainly will live throughout the summer. You’ll absolutely see this on keg by the time August comes around. there, something magical in the balance of Valencia orange peel cardamon and coriander seed and then that funky wheat beer base. I just know you guys are gonna love it, unless you don’t like wheat beers in which case you won’t. Oh and it’s named after a bus”
Mash Gang changing stuff.….
….From a start-up in lockdown to becoming one of the most important brands in the AF beer market, they make an amazing core range then comes the drop(s)…..
Mash Gang has brewed beers from lagers and pales to sours & stouts they just push flavours and mouth feel to a whole new level. When the drops have dropped and they go out of stock that’s it! so buy them when they are in stock. No amount of begging will get Reign in Blood back in stock so get used to it and try what is out there before that is gone and you’re moaning about not having had time to try it!
Surprisingly they run their business through the Japanese model of Kaizen, which translates as change for the better and continuous improvement. They are focused on slow, sustained growth. This is why they wanted to spend the early years of this business working on a solid foundation where you build up trust with consumers that they always deliver a high-quality product, and that they are always relentlessly innovating.

They say they are never satisfied with what we do!
Furthermore, no single recipe stays the same, and just because they contract brew, that doesn’t mean they don’t have an eye on quality. Everything they do is around the quality of the beer…. enough said, the only way to really appreciate these guys is to taste their beers…..
All the Mash Gang beers are Non-Alcoholic, thus I stock them as Alcohol Free.
