…. is an independent brewery proudly based in Leeds, focused on creating the best beer experiences in the world. Inspired by our northern surroundings and the history of monastic brewing practised across the region for thousands of years, we commit ourselves to creating the highest quality beers, combining the best of traditional monastic brewing values with a progressive approach to ingredients and techniques.

In 2014, Northern Monk was truly born. We found our home and our own brewery was set up in a Grade II listed abandoned mill building in Leeds, The Old Flax Store. It’s still their home today.

We’ve made Heaven even holier, with our AF-twist on our annual imperial stout. Holy Heaven is a 0.5% impy with maple, chocolate and vanilla, giving you rich, dark, thick beer you crave, but without the sinful ABV.

We’ve prayed to the Monk gods, and have again been blessed by an alcohol-free imperial stout, and we think it’s heavenly AF.

We’ve made Heaven even holier, with our non-alcoholic twist on our annual imperial stout.

Holy Heaven is a 0.5% impy with maple, chocolate and vanilla, giving you rich, dark, thick beer you crave, but without the sinful ABV.
