About Brass Castle

Brass Castle are a craft brewery rooted in Malton, Yorkshire, and proud of it. Every beer in their range is 100% vegan and certified gluten free — not as a niche add-on, but as a core commitment. They use a traditional English ale yeast for natural clarity and mouthfeel without animal products, and a vegan-friendly enzyme during fermentation to break down gluten, with every batch tested at certified UK labs.

Sustainability is woven into everything they do. Spent grain goes to anaerobic digesters to create biogas and fertiliser; spent hops go to local allotments to nourish the soil. Cans are shipped in cardboard that customers return for reuse, Keykegs are collected and recycled, and water and cleaning chemicals are constantly reviewed to minimise waste. From grain to glass, Brass Castle are committed to doing things the right way — ethically, sustainably, and with purpose. Cheers to that.
