A fresh, aromatic non-alcoholic white wine from the Palatinate
Miris Blend Édition Premier Blanc is a white wine from Germany’s Palatinate with a vivid, concentrated character. Its light lemon colour leads into intense aromas of green herbs, sea breeze, flowers and fresh citrus. High acidity and concentrated flavours meet gently off-dry sweetness, finishing long and mineral.
Tasting Notes
Fresh citrus and floral aromas mingle with green herbs and a sea-breeze note. Elderflower, lemon and gooseberry lead on the palate, where lively acidity is balanced by medium sweetness.
How to Serve
A thoughtful aperitif and a good choice with seafood, fish, salads or Asian cuisine. Its acidity and sweetness also complement spicy, chilli-hot dishes. Pair it with Camembert or Chèvre, or bring out citrus and green notes in your cooking to echo the wine.
From Vineyard to Bottle
The grapes come from several sub-regions of the Palatinate. Northern vineyards have dry, nutrient-poor soils that store heat, while looser calcareous soils in the south retain water efficiently. The sunny Mediterranean-style climate, protection from the Weinbiet mountain and daily fall winds help create favourable temperature variations. Gentle pruning limits yields for concentration; September grapes are hand-selected before machine harvesting.
Whole bunches are gently pressed, then fermented at low temperatures in steel tanks to develop floral and fruity aromas. Dealcoholisation uses patented aroma-recovery technology and gentle vacuum distillation at 60 mbar and 35°C. The separated aromas are recovered and added back to the wine to preserve its full aroma spectrum.
