Northern Monk Cap in Hand brings bright citrus, soft fruit and a smooth, hazy pour together at just 0.3% ABV. Brewed in collaboration with running headwear specialists VÅGA as part of the NM Presents… Patron’s Project, this alcohol-free pale ale takes its inspiration from VÅGA’s roots in the Cumbrian fells and a shared passion for running.

Tasting Notes

Pale and hazy in the glass, Cap in Hand opens with fresh citrus and fruity hop aromas. Citra and Mosaic hops deliver juicy citrus and soft fruit flavours, followed by gentle, pithy bitterness. The mouthfeel is smooth and soft, with a light, refreshing finish.

The Hops

A classic New England pairing of Citra and Mosaic gives this pale ale its fruit-forward character. Enhanced hop pellets in the whirlpool and liquid aroma products for late-hopping build depth of flavour without harsh bitterness.

How to Serve

Serve chilled in a clean glass to enjoy the haze and fresh hop aromas. Try it alongside tacos, grilled vegetables or a citrus-dressed salad.
