…. is an independent brewery proudly based in Leeds, focused on creating the best beer experiences in the world. Inspired by our northern surroundings and the history of monastic brewing practised across the region for thousands of years, we commit ourselves to creating the highest quality beers, combining the best of traditional monastic brewing values with a progressive approach to ingredients and techniques.
In 2014, Northern Monk was truly born. We found our home and our own brewery was set up in a Grade II listed abandoned mill building in Leeds, The Old Flax Store. It’s still their home today.

Our latest 10th anniversary release and we wanted to try something daring, something different. We wanted to see if we could remake one of our best ever beers but with no alcohol. The original, part of @Tankpetrol’s Patrons Project series Infinity Vortex, from 2021, is our highest ever rated New England IPA and our eighth-best rated beer of all time on Untappd.
But why should those who don’t drink alcohol miss out? We set our technical lead and co-founder Brian the challenge.
Infinity Vortex AF is as a punchy and juicy as you’ll ever get in a non-alcohol beer. Made with Citra, El Dorado and Cashmere hops to give you a real juice bomb.
Just like the original, this version is made in collaboration with two of America’s best breweries Other Half and Equilibrium.
